Scammers are getting better and better at their scams. If you have received an IRS notice with a QR code embedded in the notice, DO NOT RESPOND. This may be a scam. The IRS rarely puts QR codes in their notices.

If you do think the notice is legitimate, please reach out to our office before responding so we can help you determine if it is legitimate.
